alerts on the Apple watch
I'm trying to turn off audible alerts on the first gen watch running watchOS 3. I just want haptic alerts. how do i do it? i haven't had much luck finding an answer.

To customise alerts for Messages, on your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Messages:
- Choose Custom.
- Under "Alerts", enable each of Show Alerts and Haptic.
- Turn off Sound.
To customise alerts for emails, on your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Mail:
- Choose Custom.
- Under "Alerts", enable Show Alerts.
- Tap on an account (for example, iCloud or VIPs) > enable Show Alerts and Haptic, turn off Sound.
